We're Back...

I'm excited to report that my students are editing essays to share on this blog as we speak.

It's been a while. This semester, I'm teaching two sections of Advanced Composition at Westmoreland County Community College. I've really pushed these students, and they have performed very well on their essays. I will have plenty to share with all of you very soon.

And the great news is the essays focus on topics local to western Pennsylvania. They range from a look at a UFO crash landing in Kecksburg to a behind the scenes tour of a museum in Greensburg. These students have researched the gems in their backyards, and what they've come up with is interesting and impressive.

I hope you'll agree.
